Factory Capabilities

The Presidential factory is located in the Pittsburgh region of western Pennsylvania. The factory is located on 6.8 acres with the main factory of 70,000 sq. ft. and a 2nd annex location providing an additional 37,500 sq. ft. of manufacturing floor space. We are currently working with the local and state economic development groups to secure a site within the region to double our factory size and expand our fabrication capabilities. Presidential Buildings introduced the Zeus-Shield Standing Seam roof system product in early 2009. Production levels and shipments of this product have grown consistently since initial introduction in Q1 of 2009. Current factory production capability highlights include:

Full frames manufacturing capability utilizing high strength steel with light gray standard primer coated finish
Full secondary framing manufacturing capability utilizing G40 Galvanized finished high strength material and state-of–the-art CNC roll forming production lines
PBR panel wall system with high strength galvanized substrate and 35-40 year performance warranties on all factory supplied coated surfaces
PBR panel roof system with high strength galvalume substrate and 25 year substrate warranty along with the 35-40 year performance warranties on all factory supplied coated surfaces
A complete manufactured trim and finish package including factory produced gutter and downspout assemblies that carry the same 35-40 year performance warranties on all factory supplied coated surfaces.
All hardware, building accessories, and fasteners in high strength corrosion resistant finishes and color coded to match exterior paint finish (where exposed)

Factory Capacity

The current Presidential Buildings factory has a demonstrated capacity to fabricate and ship 600 tons a week of complete metal building systems. We can process up to 60 projects per week and provide load-out and delivery departure times on a schedule of up to 20 hours a day as far as driver departure is concerned. The factory has operated on a 3 shift continuous basis utilizing weekend schedules for "surge" capacity when the extraordinary is required to meet a customer expectation. We have frame manufacturing capacity of 240 tons per week utilizing three full feature plasma cutting machines, with CNC controlled pull-thru welder, plate fabricator, and flange lines. All frames processing is uniquely linked with responsive material handling and dispatching systems to allow the factory to complete the full fabrication cycle (including load and shipment) in two weeks or less.
