Proposal Generation Services
The Presidential Buildings objective for Builder/Dealer sales support emphasizes accurate and timely proposal generation. Proposals are provided through licensed general contractors who work with the sales and engineering service groups at Presidential. The initial building system proposal represents the opportunity for Presidential (and it’s Builder) to differentiate itself from the competition and to value-engineer a building system solution that is second to none in features and benefits for the building owner as well as the erector who will be installing the system. Generating a high quality building proposal depends upon complete building definitions, that is why Presidential Buildings sales engineering will work directly with the Builder/Dealer to complete building clarification in the field or over the phone to ensure accurate project definition in every Presidential proposal we create. Presidential offers: (without extra charge)
- Corporate Building Specifications (both USA and Canada)
- In-Field project clarification reviews or pre-production reviews involving the building owner, his engineer or architect and of course the Builder/Dealer representative
- Estimating software installed at the Builder/Dealer office with direct linkage to the factory
- Sales Engineering support from the factory to assist the Builder in value engineering the building solution which differentiates the proposal from the typical industry proposal
- Full permit packages including anchor bolt plans and reactions
- Building animations and interactive presentations to assist the Builder/Dealer in selling the solution upstream
Installation Services
The current Presidential Buildings system solution includes stamped and professionally sealed construction drawings and erection guidelines. All major parts and pieces on each order are carefully labeled with identification that matches the installation drawings prepared for that specific project and installation instruction manuals are shipped with every project. The Presidential factory also offers a formal erection certification program that further enhances the building system knowledge base of the erector and allows for the erection service supplier to achieve formal certification status. This is a critical requirement for all Presidential Steel Building weather-tight warranties which must be installed by a factory certified erector in order to validate the warranty.
Presidential has a complete staff of well trained in-field erection technicians that will provide:
- In Field support (when requested) for erectors who want additional factory support during erection phase of the project
- Perform post erection audits including weather tightness warranty confirmations
- Provide in-field training on building shake-out, parts interpretation and understanding of the installation manual or construction drawings package
- Perform building investigations or evaluations (post installation) to provide solutions or recommendations for correct maintenance or building repair procedures
- Provide third party PEB building inspection feedback on Presidential building applications for FM or UL insurance applications
Engineering Services
Presidential Steel Buildings has licensed engineers who provide technical and professional expertise to our final building designs while assisting our sales engineers and Builders with high quality value-engineered building proposals. The most important objective of our design engineering community is to assure that building designs are consistent with the purchase order definition and meet or exceed building load and code criteria. All Presidential Steel Buildings projects feature final designs that are professionally stamped and sealed for the state in which they will be delivered in the USA or for the country/code conditions on an international basis. Today, Presidential has over 60 years of industry specific design experience applied and available within the design engineering community and multiple offices to serve contractors nation-wide.
